◆ Peru’s new peak of publishers of 4,231 is 25 percent over last year’s average. Book placements tripled amount placed last May.
◆ The 1,607 reporting in El Salvador is 24 percent above last year’s average. Number baptized so far this service year is 60 percent more than last year for same period.
◆ Haiti had a 26-percent increase in May with 1,968 publishers.
◆ Circuit assembly in Tahiti attended by 257; 142 publishers reported in May. Eleven baptized at assembly brings total immersed so far this service year to 38, compared to 2 all last year.
◆ Indonesia’s new peak of 2,471 is a 37-percent increase.
◆ A 47-percent increase in Ivory Coast with 431 reporting. Publishers averaged 17.3 hours, 11.1 back-calls and 1.3 Bible studies.
◆ Malagasy Republic had a 36-percent increase when 469 reported. Missionaries that were expelled in June received new assignments in five other countries.
