◆ Five territories out of seven under the Papua branch’s jurisdiction have reported new peaks far August: Papua, Bougainville, New Britain, New Guinea and New Ireland.
◆ India’s new peak of 3,347 publishers is a 24-percent increase. And there were new peaks in hours, back-calls, studies and regular pioneers too.
◆ With a new peak of 814 publishers reporting, Alaska ended the service year 21 percent above last year’s average.
◆ Another new peak for Chile! The 7,422 publishers each averaged 11.2 hours and 1 Bible study.
◆ Guatemala’s report of 2,250 praisers of Jehovah tops last year’s average by 28 percent.
◆ A 23-percent increase for Mexico. The 49,031 reporting make the seventh peak this year.
◆ A half-day gathering for 22 peaceable, Arabic-speaking publishers was arranged by the Israel branch in the “West Bank” territory. A total of 75 attended the talks and the drama that was presented by slides and recording.
