◆ British Isles reports 108,102 attended district assemblies—first time over 100,000 in attendance in one year in that country’s history. Total baptized for service year by end of July is 7,600—up 25 percent over last year’s total.
◆ Israel reports they now have 5 congregations, with a second one formed in Tel Aviv. Publishers reporting in July are 30 percent ahead of last year’s average.
◆ For the first time Nigeria passed the 100,000 mark in publishers (100,347). Much potential for increase, as final Memorial report shows 258,978 attended.
◆ Kenya passes 1,500 mark for first time; 1,534 publishers, a 33-percent increase.
◆ Brazil reports book placements up 30,000 over last year’s July total; magazine placements up 55 percent.
◆ Baptism total by end of July for Argentina 61 percent ahead of last year’s pace; 4,475 baptized.
◆ Dominican Republic reports a 27-percent increase, with 5,679 publishers in July. More baptized than in any past year.
