YIRON
(Yiʹron).
One of the fortified cities in the territory of Naphtali. (Jos 19:32, 35, 38) Its location is uncertain, but it has tentatively been identified with present-day Yaroun, about 30 km (19 mi) SW of Dan, in Galilee.
